One of the biggest questions I get day-in, day-out is, “should I homeschool my children?” After nine years of homeschooling all three of my children and educating over thirty more students on a one-on-one basis, I’ve learned a lot about teaching children at home. If we don’t know how to build a fire, or light one without matches, our chances of surviving in the wild are less than those who do.

I say this as someone who was forced to go to public school. I would have loved to have been homeschooled, but my parents were not interested in this option. So, I suffered through my time at the local schools and vowed that when I had kids of my own, they would be homeschooled.
