The way you feel changes automatically as posture sends messages to the brain. Standing tall, having a smile and shaking hands shows your positive attitude and confidence.
- Exercise: Exercise is the best way to increase your confidence. It keeps one in good shape and physically active throughout the day. Regular exercise releases endorphins which interact with the opiate receptors in the brain. It helps us to be motivated and healthy, which in turn boosts our self-confidence.

Having a hobby keeps your confidence high because you love to do that thing and, with time and effort, you become great at that thing. You became more known for the hobby you do. Also, you stand out from the crowd for having a particular hobby. Learn dancing, singing, sketching, cooking, or any other thing you feel comfortable in.
- Take Risks: Every time we meet someone new, we often think, “Wow, everyone is so beautiful, creative, talented, and good in every task they do. I’m not good enough like them”. No one is perfect, and try to be a learner every time. Try to do new things. When you take more risks, you move out of your comfort zone. Trying something new seems to be difficult at first. But you expand your limitations. Once you complete it, your self-confidence gets a good boost.
- Talk to yourself: Self-approval is one of the most important that everyone must have. Always try to speak with yourself with self-compassion, encouragement, and kindness. Never be harsh on yourself. Always think positively. Talking to yourself increases your confidence level. Self-confidence is not built in a day. But it is a lifelong process.
