I’m sure that you’ve heard something about the Internet. And probably that it’s one big, huge library full of knowledge and information. Well, yes, it is. Technically, it’s a huge database that consists of websites — consider them a bunch of books on a shelf.

But you can’t just read any website whenever you want. Why? Because there are rules. There are formalities you need to follow to enter a previously seen website again, to read another book on the shelf and gain more knowledge or just enjoy the process of reading.

The Internet is a very big place

It has no limits and it can be either good or bad. It’s a great place because you can find almost anything there. You can learn, communicate with people, order something you want, etc. But you need to understand that the Internet is a place where some dishonest people live and they want to get all your money and information.

The Internet is very unsafe so you should know how to protect yourself from these evil people. As per research done by top boys schools in Pune, these are some tips that will help you stay safe while surfing the Web:

1) Be careful when you are registering on different sites; try not to reveal too many of your personal details on these sites.

2) Never give your password to anyone, even if he or she says that he or she is a representative of the website; he or she can’t take your password for sure anyway so don’t give it to them.

3) Never open any attachments from unknown senders; they can have viruses and other harmful programs inside of them which will attack your system once downloaded.

4) Don’t use online payment systems without a 2-step authentication; this means that every time you make an online payment, you will have to enter not only your card details but also a one-time password.

If you were to ask me what the Internet is, I would say, it is a huge library with a very unsafe place

You can find almost any information there, but you need to be careful with what you get. Some of the information is false and some of it is true.

The Internet is a good place where we can find a lot of information we need for our daily life. We can find different kinds of content that we can benefit from. We can also find places where we can buy different stuff, for example, books and clothes.

We can easily search for our favorite music on the Internet. We just have to search for it on YouTube or Vimeo, or anywhere else where you can listen to music for free.

The only bad thing about the Internet is that there are many illegal things like stealing content from other people’s websites and using them without permission.

Another bad thing about the Internet is that you could find out things about yourself that maybe you don’t want to know. For example, if you put your name in Google, it will show results based on your name. You might not like everything that is said about you but that’s what someone else wrote about you and not what you wrote about yourself.

Conclusion

The Internet is like the library: full of knowledge, but dangerous. So, use it for good, because unwanted things can happen even in the most trusted place.
